The first group of 100 Gaza residents is heading home from Egypt at this hour, according to Palestinian Authority spokesman Hani al-Jabour.

A total of some 270 Gazans will be allowed to enter Israel from Sinai through the Nitzana crossing, travel through pre-1967 Israel and then into Gaza through the Erez crossing.

Israel and Egypt agreed on the plan on Saturday. According to the plan, none of those allowed to make the journey were to be fugitives from Israeli justice.
