Bereaved Parents Protest Tal Law
(IsraelNN.com) Representatives of a forum of bereaved parents are demonstrating in the Kirya military district in Tel Aviv against the Tal Law, which has recently been extended for five additional years.
The law allows yeshiva students to be exempt from military service. "If someone does not want to fulfill his duty [and serve], he deserves no rights in this country; let him leave," one of the demonstrators said.
