The Bush administration has taken action against the American branch of an Iranian-based Hizbullah "charity" organization's offices in Dearborn, Michigan, home to a large Muslim community. The Treasury Department identified the Martyrs Foundation and Goodwill Charitable Organization as a front for Hizbullah.
The group allegedly financed Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists and funded Hizbullah terrorists who were involved in the organization's war against Israel last summer.
The American government also moved against a Lebanese company, al-Qard al-Hassan, that is supected of being a cover for Hizbullah "to manage its financial activity.''
