A group of 600 Jews from France will be making Aliya (immigrate to Israel) on two chartered planes Wednesday, arriving at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport.
The two planes, one El Al and one Israir, will be taking off from Paris and Marseille.
The mass Aliyah was coordinated by the French AMI organization, modeled after the Nefesh B’Nefesh organization’s Aliyah assistance, as well as the Jewish Agency for Israel.
This year has seen a ten percent increase in French Aliyah.
