Economic Growth Surges Past Forecasts

(IsraelNN.com) The economy has returned to an accelerated growth that surpasses Bank of Israel and Finance Ministry forecasts, according to figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). Revenue from trade, service and retail sales soared in the three month March-May period by rates of 6.8-7.4 percent.
High-tech industries reported a 7.3 percent rise in output, and its employment tolls increased by 5 percent.
