Evening prayers at the start of Tisha B'Av fast will take place at 8 p.m. Monday at the Gush Katif farmers' protest tent in Jerusalem. On Tuesday, afternoon prayers and the reading from the Torah will begin at 18:30 p.m. and the end of the day's prayers will be followed by the breaking of the fast.

The farmers are protesting the lack of help from the government since their farmland was taken away, two summers ago, and given to the Palestinian Authority (PA) as part of the expulsion program.
