About 500 hareidi-religious Jews are holding a prayer protest in Herzl Street in Netanya, opposite a shop that sells pork. The shop opened a few weeks ago.

Police report there have been no disturbances of the public peace.

Last week, Netanya's City Council approved a bylaw making sale of pork illegal in the coastal city.
