Police in the Dan region reported Thursday that they had arrested 66 Arab residents of Palestinian Authority-controlled cities on Wednesday. The PA Arabs had entered Israeli cities illegally.
Police also arrested three men accused of transporting the PA Arabs to Israeli cities. The illegal entrants and the men accused of transporting them are undergoing a police investigation, after which most of the PA Arabs will be released to their homes.
