Israel Denies Report Of Abandoning Two PA Cities

(IsraelNN.com) Government spokesmen have denied reports in the London-based Al Quds Arabic language newspaper that Israel soon will cease all counter-terrorist operations in Jericho and Kalkilya and give the Palestinian Authority (PA) full control of security in the cities.
Officials added that Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas told Prime Minister Ehud Olmert this week in their meeting in Jerusalem that the PA's security forces are not yet able to exercise full control.
