Arab terrorists stoned an ambulance near the village of Al Aroob, one mile south of Gush Etzion, several minutes ago. There were no reports of injuries and it is not yet known if the ambulance was damaged. Jewish drivers on Highway 60, which passes by the village, have been a frequent target of stone throwers, who try to cause injury to drivers and subsequent loss of control of their vehicles.

Soldiers regularly man posts at the village. However, manpower at the Gush Etzion junction checkpoint has been reduced since Prime Minister Ehud Olmert promised Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas earlier this week to ease travel restrictions on Arab drivers.
