Abdel Rahim Malouh, leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and a close advisor to Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, is among the 256 terrorists to be released on Friday, the Arabic Al Ayyam newspaper reported. Israel is to publish a complete list of the prisoners Tuesday afternoon or early Wednesday morning.

Malouh served as a mediator between the rival Fatah and Hamas factions. His group was involved in planning attacks on Israelis, but Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said that none of those to be released has "blood on his hands."
