93 terrorists have turned in their weapons in exchange for amnesty in Judea and Samaria. In a deal worked out between Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, a list of 178 wanted terrorists would be offered amnesty if they turned in their weapons, mainly from Abbas’ Fatah faction and its military wing, the Al-Aksa Martyr’s Brigade. The move is part of Abbas and PA Prime Minister Salam Fayad’s attempt to restore law and order in Arab areas of Judea and Samaria.
