According to Egyptian terrorists, Egyptian Al-Qaeda leader Khaled Mahmoud Ahmed fled to Gaza in April and has been staying there since. The terrorists in question are part of Ahmed’s forces in Egypt, and were arrested recently by Egyptian security officials.
Officials explained that the group planned to send its members to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Israeli territories controlled by the Palestinian Authority. The members were to gather knowledge and fighting techniques and then return to Egypt to carry out attacks on Egyptian soil. Khaled Ahmed is facing charges of spreading Al-Qaeda ideology and planning attacks against tourists.
