Activists plan to distribute a letter on Thursday in Gush Etzion calling on all Jews to join the initial settlement of Givat HaEitam, a hill near the Gush Etzion city of Efrat.  The letter has been signed by several Judean rabbis, including Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, the rabbi of Efrat, Rabbi Dov Lior, and Rabbi Hanan Porat.

Activists plan to begin construction of a new community on Givat HaEitam on Wednesday July 25.  The move is aimed to reverse the policy of freezing Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria.
