The Histadrut national labor union and the Finance Ministry have agreed to sit down and negotiate next week over union demands for a 13 percent hike in wages. Histadrut leader Ofir Eini told newly appointed Finance Minister Ronnie Bar-On that he will call off a planned general strike.
