The Transportation Ministry has ordered public bus companies to provide discounts to all college and university students throughout the country. Discounts have been provided for the past two years on a trial basis, and only students in certain institutions were eligible.
Students will now be able to purchase a semester-long bus pass. The bus passes will be roughly half the price of the month-long bus passes normally offered.
