Syria: IDF is Training for War in Golan

(IsraelNN.com) The Syrian government says it does not believe that a major IDF military exercise carried out in the Golan Heights this week was part of routine training.
An analyst on Syrian government radio said Wednesday that Israel is not interested in peace. “Since Olmert said specifically that he is unwilling to enter into a dialogue with Syria and senior American officials reiterate the same statements,” he said, “we are unable to believe his lies.”
In addition, the editor of the official daily Al-Thawra newspaper wrote the same day that Syria expects Israel to attack at any time.
