A patron has sued a restaurant for 7 million shekels ($1.65 million) for allowing customers to smoke, in violation of the law. The same restaurant recently was fined 1,300 shekels ($307) for the same offense.
The lawsuit claims the restaurant has ignored customers' complaints and has not posted any signs prohibiting smoking.
