Javier Solana, the European Union's Foreign Policy Representative, says it was probably Iran who was behind the Hamas takeover of Gaza and ousting of the Fatah terror gang in June. Solana thinks that Iran is also behind the attacks on the Lebanese Army and on the UN Forces in Lebanon.

Solana emphasized that the events in Gaza and Lebanon are connected. He quoted Ali Larijani, negotiator for Iran's nuclear program, as saying that Iran fully supports Hamas. "It is all connected, one to other," says Solana.
