Israeli artillery fire killed one Palestinian Authority (PA) resident and wounded another Monday afternoon, according to the PA. It was not known if the victims were terrorists or civilians. The IDF has not responded to the report.

In a separate incident, an Arab crossed from Gaza into the fields of a kibbutz, from where he fled back to Gaza after soldiers identified and shot at him.
