Islamic Jihad Vows Revenge for Senior Commander Death

The Islamic Jihad terrorist organization vowed Sunday to avenge the death of its senior commander in Gaza, Ziad Ranam in an IAF air strike Saturday.

Ranam, his son Iyad and other terrorist colleagues were planning a suicide bombing attack against Israel when the IAF attacked their car. Ranam was also responsible for a 2005 raid on an IDF military post that killed five soldiers, as well as other terror attacks.

Islamic Jihad released a statement promising “The continued Zionist aggression will not pass without quick retaliation in the heart of the Zionist entity.”
