Two Kassam rockets hit inside Sderot Saturday night, with one exploding near the city's fire station. The Red Alert system went off minutes after Shabbat ended, clearing the streets as people ran for cover. One person was lightly injured and was treated at the scene. Another person was treated for shock.

Three other Kassams fell in the western Negev over Shabbat, with one hitting the roof of a building in Kibbutz Nir Am, and another hitting in the Sderot commercial center.
