The United Nations has agreed to the Polish government's request to change the definition of the Auschwitz concentration camp in UNESCO's list of "heritage sites."



Auschwitz will be defined as "the Nazi-German Death Camp Auschwitz-Birkenau," in order to make it clear that the camp was run by Germans and not by Poles.
