Activists organized by patriotic grassroots group "Mattot Arim" are demonstrating outside the Habima theater in Tel Aviv, in protest of a play named "Hevron" which Habima is co-producing with Hacameri Theater.
"The play is about 'bad' IDF soldiers who supposedly harass 'peace loving' Palestinians," the demonstrators explained. "Habima used to be our national theater. Today it is the Hamas' national theater."
The demonstrators demanded that all government funding of the theater cease. "If Habima needs money, it should be told to turn to the people who finance propaganda for global Islamic terrorism," they said.
