Shechem Fighting Claims 10th Victim
(IsraelNN.com) Unknown assailants killed a 32-year-old resident of Shechem on Thursday morning. The victim was known to be a supporter of Fatah. He is the 10th resident of Shechem to be murdered in 10 days.
Killings between rival terrorist groups Fatah and Hamas have increased in Shechem in the past several days following the Hamas takeover in Gaza. Earlier in the week Fatah purged the Shechem city council of Hamas members, replacing them with Fatah officials. Hamas has accused Fatah of killing over 150 Hamas terrorists in Judea and Samaria; the accusation has not been substantiated.
