A synagogue was among the structures damaged in Wednesday night's Kassam rocket attacks on Sderot, officials said in an updated report. Another rocket knocked down a high tension wire at a nearby kibbutz.

Ten people were treated for shock and two people suffered light injuries in the barrage. Islamic Jihad terrorists claimed they fired most of the Kassams. Earlier in the night, Hamas leader and deposed Palestinian Authority (PA) Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said that his terrorists party is not responsible for protecting Israel.
