The two Gaza terrorists hit by IDF fire early Wednesday morning have died following the first clash with army troops since the Hamas militia takeover in Gaza last week. The terrorists were identified as members of Hamas and the Popular Resistance Committees.

They fought with IDF troops who were searching for wanted terrorists near the Kisufim crossing in central Gaza, where IDF tanks were positioned. One army soldier suffered moderate wounds in the hour-long gunfight.

In Jenin, an Islamic Jihad and a Fatah terrorist were killed in a gun battle with soldiers.
