Some 6,000 bomb shelters in the north of the country are set to undergo renovations next month at an estimated cost of NIS 100 million, it was announced Tuesday.

The repairs are to be carried out by the Defense Ministry and the Jewish Agency-owned Amigur housing company.
The Defense Ministry will be responsible for renovating public shelters and Amigur will repair those belonging to private individuals.
