The outgoing Minister of Defense, Amir Peretz, said Sunday that the firing of rockets at Kiryat Shemona is "the first such incident after the war, and it has a formative meaning that will shape the future."

"The Lebanese government is the sovereign in this area and it needs to bear responsibility in every way," said Peretz.
