The US may soon lift its embargo on the Palestinian Authority (PA), a US diplomat told the Washington Times Sunday.



The US diplomat said the embargo could be lifted after the PA chairman appoints a government without the Islamist militants.



But the money is unlikely to reach Gaza, now controlled by Hamas and cut off from the rest of the world.
