MK Aryeh Eldad (National Union / NRP) said following the Katyusha salvo on Kiryat Shemona Sunday that the presence of the multinational force in southern Lebanon is preventing Israel from responding to the attack.
"The multinational force we trusted so much is only hindering an IDF reaction," said Eldad, "and if Israel does not react immediately it will be repeating all the past's mistakes." He added cynically that "the Hizbullah's rockets once again did not fulfill our expectations from them and refused to rust in the storage sheds."
MK Eldad apparently was not aware that the rockets may not have been fired by Hizbullah.
