Hundreds of police and government authorities at this hour are carrying out a court approved order to demolish several illegal Bedouin shacks near the community of Omer, north of Be'er Sheva.



Previous demolitions have been met with extreme violence by the Bedouin population. The homes are among tens of thousands that have been built without a permit, most of them in illegal villages that the government calls "unrecognized."
