Fatah and Hamas Meet, No Ceasefire
Representatives from Palestinian Authority coalition partners Fatah and Hamas met in Gaza on Sunday night. The rival terrorist groups attempted to come to an agreement that would put and end to bloody clashes in Gaza. The clashes killed at least five and wounded more than 40 over the weekend.
The two groups were unable to reach a compromise, and left the meeting without a ceasefire. According to human rights groups, over 600 residents of Gaza have been killed in fighting between Fatah and Hamas since Hamas was elected to control the PA parliament in 2006.
