Police officers and volunteers wrote 5,088 tickets during the first week of the “Highway of Life 6” initiative last week. “Highway of Life” is a project to increase traffic safety. 950 police officers and 540 volunteers took part in the initiative last week in the northern district.

During the week, 250 drivers had their licenses revoked and 400 cars were declared unfit for use. 35 drunk drivers were caught and arrested.
