MK Zevulun Orlev (NU/NRP) Friday accused Prime Minister Ehud Olmert of being willing to sell the Golan Heights in return for remaining in office, and called his readiness to give up the Golan "a desperate move."
Olrlev was reacting to the report in Yediot Acharonot, that Olmert sent Syrian President Assad a secret message in which he expressed willingness to give up the Golan Heights in return for peace.
"The Golan will not be sold like Gush Katif was," Orlev said.
