The Fatah al Islam terrorist group, linked with Al Qaeda and operating in Lebanon, claimed it is opening up a branch in Shechem in Samaria, WorldNetDaily reported.
"The United States, the Zionists and their allies are in a war against Islam. We will soon take the war to them and hit them. Fatah al Islam is now opened in Nablus [Shechem]," said the pamphlet, distributed in the Samaria city that often is described as one of the terrorist capitals of Israel.
Fatah officials said they are trying to stop the group from conducting a scheduled press conference announcing the new branch.
