Police Recommend Hirschson Indictment
The police recommend that suspended Finance Minister Avraham Hirschson be indicted on charges of embezzlement. The recommendation will be presented to the State Prosecution in the next few days, according to daily Yediot Acharonot.
Hirschson has been under police investigation for his alleged involvement in the embezzlement of millions of shekels that were intended, among other things, for youth trips to the sites of Nazi-era concentration camps in Poland.
He is suspected of using some of the funds for his personal and political needs.
