Conflict Spreads to South Lebanon
Two weeks of fighting between terrorist militias and the Lebanese Army in northern Lebanon has spread southward to the coastal city of Sidon. Terrorists from the Nahr el-Bared group, a Sunni group linked with the Fatah al-Islam group operating in Northern Lebanon, opened fire on Lebanese soldiers at the Ein el-Hilweh camp in the city of Sidon.
At least 12 people have died in today’s hostilities.
