(IsraelNN.com) A tent erected in front of the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem to protest the Second Lebanon War was taken down Sunday.

Two university students, Itai Harari and Zachary Weiner, erected the tent and called for the resignation of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in response to the release of the interim Winograd Report which harshly criticized the prime minister.

Hundreds of protesters initially joined in their demonstration, including Labor MK Ophir Pines-Paz, but participation gradually slacked off.

When it became clear the prime minister had no intention of resigning, however, the two students decided to leave the tent up for 34 days, the length of the war.
