Kadima cabinet ministers decided Sunday morning to try and build a link with American academics to fight a decision last week by a union of UK colleges and universities to boycott Israeli institutions of higher learning.

The Kadima ministers, who met prior to the regular weekly cabinet meeting, agreed to let Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni coordinate the fight against the boycott.
