MK Yuval Steinitz (Likud) criticized the Labor Party’s choice of final candidates for chairman Tuesday.

“Labor has become a militaristic party with a fascist flavor,” he said. “I don’t know of any party in the Western world that the majority of its heads in the past decade were generals, and whose primaries consisted of a general and an admiral running against each other and competing for support from other officers and intelligence chiefs.”

Steinitz lamented that because Labor is a left-wing party, the media “turns a blind eye to this alarming phenomenon.”
