IDF troops arrested 20 wanted terrorists overnight throughout Judea and Samaria – 12 of them in Shechem.
Seven terrorists – two of them Fatah members and two with Hamas – were apprehended in Shechem’s Balata slums. A cache of pistols and cartridges of ammunition were discovered in one of the terrorist’s homes. Two more Fatah terrorists and three Hamas terrorists were arrested elsewhere in PA-assigned Shechem.
Two Hamas terrorists were arrested in Kalkilya and a Fatah Tanzim commander was caught in Deir Isna, northwest of Ramallah. Two Hamas terrorists were caught in Hirbat Tzafa, southeast of Bethlehem, and Yatta, south of Hevron. Another wanted man was caught with an M-16 assault rifle in Dahariya, southwest of Hevron.
