Knesset Economics Committee Chair MK Moshe Kahlon (Likud) spoke at a special meeting on Monday regarding Israel’s international leadership in developing water technologies.

He stressed that drinking water is usually contained in exposed reservoirs which can potentially become targets for chemical or biological terrorism. He urged the development of safeguards against this threat.
