MK Wants PA Tax Revenue Spent on Kassam Victims (IsraelNN.com) Israel Our Home (Yisrael Beiteinu) Knesset Member Yisrael Hasson said he will introduce a bill to require that tax revenues collected by Israel for the Palestinian Authority (PA) be used to help Kassam rocket victims. Israel has held on to most of the money since Hamas won PA legislative elections last year but released about $100 million for "humanitarian" purposes.
"I know of no place in the world where someone who is sentenced to death pays the hangman for the rope," said MK Hasson. "The time has come that we make the PA responsible. The object of the proposed law is to make sure that Israel does not pay out of it own pocket for the failures of the PA." ![]() Sign up to receive the Daily Israel Report by email (Free) © IsraelNN Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
