A Kassam rocket landed shortly to the south of Sderot on Thursday night, and did not cause injuries or damage. City spokesman Yossi Cohen said that the city’s Red Dawn warning system failed to detect the rocket.

Two rockets landed in open fields south of Kibbutz Alumim, and caused no damage or injuries. A fourth rocket landed in a petting zoo in Kibbutz Be’eri. Several animals were injured.
