Eyewitnesses saw two rockets launched from Gaza land in the Negev on Thursday evening. Explosions were heard in the area. The rockets themselves have not yet been located.

Arabs in Gaza said that IDF tanks had entered Palestinian Authority-controlled territory, and were located in the former Jewish town of Dugit, approximately 200 meters from the northern edge of the Gaza region. The IDF has stationed artillery units around Gaza, and has carried out several airstrikes throughout the day.
