‘Rocket Fire a Distraction’

(IsraelNN.com) Security sources responded to the intense rocket attacks on Sderot and the western Negev on Tuesday night, saying that Hamas is trying to distract Gaza’s Arab population from its violent clashes with Fatah earlier in the day. More than 200 Arabs have been killed in clashes between Hamas and Fatah, including eight Fatah terrorists who died in a Hamas attack on Karni crossing on Tuesday morning. Senior Fatah officials have vowed revenge for the attack.
IDF officials are meeting to discuss the attacks and determine a response. Minister of Strategic Affairs Avigdor Lieberman and Deputy Prime Minister Eli Yishai have both called for a harsh response.
