The body of 16-year-old Daniel Wultz, an American teenager from Florida who was visiting Israel over Passover, was flown to his home community in Florida for burial.
Wultz died of massive injuries in Ichilov Hospital after fighting for a number of weeks, gravely wounded in the suicide bombing attack in southern Tel Aviv. He became the 11th fatality of that attack.
--Former government minister and senior Likud official Dan Meridor said that Israel’s intelligence services must know when to stand up to the prime minister.
“A leader who wants to retain the whole land of Israel or make peace needs to have an intelligence community capable of standing up and telling him whether his vision is impractical or impossible,” Meridor said at a conference at Tel Aviv University.
