Friedmann Considers Reccomending Blumenthal Pardon
Justice Minister Daniel Friedmann is considering that former Likud MK Naomi Blumenthal be pardoned for her crimes. In two weeks, Blumenthal is scheduled to start serving a sentence of 8 months in prison for renting hotel rooms for Likud Central Committee members on the eve of party primaries and for witness tampering. Members of Knesset have been pushing for a pardon in the wake of the recent death of Blumenthal's husband.
