Jordanian King Abdullah II is meeting in Ramallah at this hour with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas at the Mukata, the former headquarters of Abbas’ predecessor, PLO Chairman and chief terrorist Yasser Arafat.

The Hashemite monarch is expected to meet Monday with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert during a gathering for Nobel laureates, including Vice Premier Shimon Peres, to be hosted by the king at Petra.
